As I watched the newest episode of Lost I tried to pinpoint something great to illustrate for the 815 Sentences project. This week’s Lost had only one quote that grabbed me, “I will never leave you,” but I thought that was horribly depressing and I needed a pick-me-up. Remember that episode a while back where Sayid shoots twelve year-old Ben Linus? I do! In it, Sayid said, “A twelve-year-old Ben Linus brought me a chicken salad sandwich. How do you think I’m doing?” That quote made me officially, “LOL” as the kids say. Fuck chicken salad.

Leaf Ties by Lufdesign, Korea, are cable ties that cause your wires and cables to resemble tied twigs or vines. I’m in love with how simply these ties add an aesthetic spark of life to otherwise cold and inorganic places and things.

Although the product page states that its profits “are used to benefit causes for ecology campaign,” I haven’t yet found a way to purchase these through Lufdesign or otherwise. If I make any headway (or if any of you find the right link), I’ll post it here.
