One of my long-standing pet peeves often springs up around, well, spring.  That is when people who no longer go to school, take spring break. 

As a working man since the day I turned 16, I have only enjoyed one spring break in my career as a student, high school and college.  It bugs me when people who don’t go to college take a spring break.  Spring Break is a ritual afforded to students for their procrastination hard work throughout the year.  So, you can see why it irks me when people that were too lame cool to continue school decide to partake in this collegiate pasttime.  

Well, tonight was a new low.  I work as a bouncer for a nightclub in the rich, upper-class part of town.  My clientele is mostly 25-35yr old women and 30-45yr old men.  Tonight, I overheard a man behind me discussing what he was doing for spring break.  Curious, I turned around to get a look at the man and, sure enough, he was at least 35.  My jaw hit the preverbal floor.  

This guy is old enough to have kids going on spring break and he’s talking about what he’s going to do with his week off.  Disgusting.

Just saying, if anyone wanted to make a sequel to Wedding Crashers; Spring Break is your ticket.
