Dance Gavin Dance- Uneasy Hearts Weigh The Most
When Jonny Craig left DGD, I pretty much gave up on them. Before, their music was sporadic, their screamer sounded like shit hitting the bottom of a bucket. Basically I just loved Jonny Craig. My good friend Josh, of Watchout! Theres Ghosts (shameless name drop), who is on the same label as DGD told me a few months later that the new singer was legit and that the new album was worth a listen.
Still, I ignored it.
Recently, I pulled the album from my friend Jeremy, via Mojo, and decided to give it a listen.
I LOVE it.
I was a fan of old DGD and old Emarosa, so when Johnny left DGD for Emarosa I felt that both bands were worse off with their respective new singers. After a year and a lot of spins, I can proudly say that both rock my face off and I suggest either of them to any friend.
