Fresno, CA is known for having devilishly hot weather. It is not uncommon for the temperature to reach over 120°F. Us Fresnoians (Actual word?… who cares) are used to this. Perfect weather for sports, and better yet, the women wear tank tops…Amazing. All in all, Fresnoians (yes i’m trying to make it a word) may complain a little, but we love the summer. The one thing we can not deal with is winter. Winter for us is like making a cheetah do the Iditarod, or reversely, placing a polar bear on an island off of Tahiti (Lost reference?… Yes). This isn’t Canada damnit; we know how to pronounce words, so why do we get the cold weather? Whats that all Aboot?

How cold is it you ask? Currently a very unpleasant 52°F with a wind chill down to 48°F. Excuse me if that is at least 40° lower than us Fresnoians ever want it. Btw this is the hottest it will get today; tonight will be a very pleasant 36°F.
