Today at work, Forever by the Beach Boys was playing at work as I was walking on the main level of the bookstore.  I began to think in my head about the cover song done by John Stamos’ Full House character’s band, Jesse And The Rippers.  As the image of Uncle Jesse serenading his twins danced through my head I assured myself that I would not mention this daydream to anyone else for fear of 90’s mid-day television ridicule.  But as I walked by the racks of freshly folded sweatshirts I overheard through my peripheral hearing a girl who proclaimed to a nearby friend, “Isn’t this the song that Jesse sung?”  I immediately exploded with laughter at the thought that I wasn’t the only person who made this connection.  As I was explaining this happening to a fellow co-worker another colleague walked up and asked, “Are you talking about the Full House song that was just on?”  That makes 3!  Three people in the same room at the same time knew about Jesse and the Rippers.  That was the best I had felt in a long time.  My faith in humanity has been renewed.
