RISE AXELBLOG

Gettin’ Clicky

A few weeks back a ran across, and registered for, a web analytics site for my blog.  What this site does is track all the visits made to my site and tells me important stuff about it.  For instance, how many people visited in a given day, how many items they clicked on while here, how long they stayed on and how they got to my website.  Its really neat.

Today I was checking up on it, which I haven’t done in a while, and I noticed that last wednesday was a very busy day for the AxelBlog.  I had 22 visitors to the site and 52 actions were taken on that day.  Pretty special.  If you didn’t know, I kinda just made this site to post funny things for my friends to see but I am never opposed to branching out to new audiences.  On last Wednesday, there were plenty of visitors from CSU Fresno’s web services and Comcast internet users, likely all my brothers who actually read this, but there was a few that really stood out.

  1. One visitor from Michigan State University
  2. One visitor from Canada, who linked from Jake Hurwitz’s blog.
  3. One visitor from The Business Journal, who actually had a few actions.

I also noticed that quite a few people actually use the links on the side of the page and that if you google “Kappa Sigma Tumblr” my blog is the third hit.

PS: I just realized that all of this is only interesting to me.

I’ll post some pics later.
