Unbelievably Badass Concert Alert!

October 22nd, at the Rainbow Ballroom there will be, quite possibly, the greatest concert of the year.  I have been pretty psyched about this for a month or so but it just got better.

Chiodos

Craig Owens, punishing the mic.

I have been fortunate enough to have seen Chiodos in concert several times.  Unfortunately they were all on large tours (Warped 4x, Taste of Chaos).  It will be nice to see them on a smaller, more intimate level.

Silverstein

Silverstein isn't afraid of low ceilings.

Warped Tour ‘06 me and Ryan were taking a break at the Beer Garden when Silverstein started playing nearby.  I had heard of them but never gave them a chance.  Long story short, they rocked my face off and now I have everything they ever recorded.  I have not been able to see them in concert since then though, which makes this really exciting.

Escape the Fate

Escape the Fate, but don't escape the limelight.

Similar story.  Warped Tour ‘06 again.  Beer Gardens…again.  This band was playing on a tiny stage.  They all looked like they were stuck in the 90’s, I didn’t care for what they were playing and they were ruining my beer-drinking experience.  Fast forward about a month and I am totally getting into this band on PureVolume.com.  I was totally surprised when I started looking at their pictures and realized that it was the same band.  I missed them last time they were in Fresno so this should make up for it.

A Skylit Drive

A SKylit Drive, with new frontman Jag.

For the past week or so, ASD was posting bulletins about how they were jumping on a few dates for this tour, but it wasn’t till today that I found out they were coming to the Fresno stop as well.  Stoked!
