I bought the new issue of GQ today in assurance that this would keep me entertained for the next two hours. My index finger was almost calloused before i found an article worth reading. Don’t get me wrong; GQ is one of my favorite rags but this issue missed the mark completely. A 3-page review of Green Zone? Too long. A spring preview on mens bathing suits that are no longer than my underwear? Too gay. A feature length article about Kobe Bryant’s injuries? Not for this Kings fan. Add to that an article about a narcasistic asshole, soldiers committing suicide, the first 40 pages of just D&B adds and an Indie band from the early 90’s and this might be the most useless waste of paper since Tiger Beat. Finally, on page 184 there was an article on Jeff Bridges. Fuck! Work’s over, time to go home. Zoom
