This article is truly hilarious.  Not only does it recognize how ridiculous the old Batman movies were but also acknowledges the fact that, through the recent Batman films, we are slowly but surely trying to forget about them.

If anybody is old enough to remember what the old Batman TV show looked like, they will attest to the fact that, ‘POW’ graphics aside, it was pretty simple.  No outrageous outfits (a la Mr.Freeze) or crazy day-glo neon paint as is mentioned in the article.

I don’t know about you guys but I am excited to see Heath Ledger’s portrayal of the Joker.
