Banner? I barely Know 'er!
I was snooping around my “Following” section a few days ago and was surprised to see that two people were following my blog.  One was my (fraternity)brother Thomas Webb Sackett and the other was The Bulldog Journal. I was browsing the Bulldog Journal’s blog when I noticed something strange. If you click my banner at the top of my blog, it will refresh the front...

RIP Customer Service
Maybe my views are skewed on the subject of customer service. I say this because I used to work at Savemart, which was my favorite job ever, where we were open from 6am to 12am every day. Most holidays we were open all day as well and with the exception of Christmas, we were always open till at least 7pm on holidays. You can understand that I would be upset when, today around 2:15, I was...

Music To Your Ears
I added a cool new feature to my blog today.  If you notice, down at the bottom of the screen there is an audio player that will play any and all of the audio I have posted on this blog. Unfortunately, my excitement over this great new feature was only temporary as it quickly forced me into the realization that I have only posted 2 songs since starting this thing.  Boo to that. So, I will try...

Why I Wish I Had a Camera #5:
A guy I work with parks his bike next to or near my bike every day.  The bike is a Schwinn but the model, as written across the top of the bike frame is called “Criss Cross.” The subtle reminder that Daddy Mac and Mac Daddy are still out there somewhere is what keeps me going.

Why I wish I had a camera #3, #4:
#3.  There was a group of young adults outside of Burger King just now with their faces painted like a bunch of retards.  Either they went to see Dark Knight in costume or there is a Crumping competition in town that I don’t know about. #4.  I passed a car in which the driver was talking on her phone (now illegal) and the passenger had a Bluetooth.  Probably should be the other way around.

The Future of Batman
I am, like you all are I’m sure, so happy to see the Batman saga casting great actors for side characters in the new movies. Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, Heath Ledger, Aaron Eckhart to name a few.  Hell, even Cillian Murphy did a great job with the Scarecrow.  I decided, in my bored state, to compile a list of possible re-dos of Batman villains we could see in the future....

I am officially dumbstruck
I just finished watching one of the best/worst, strangest/coolest, smartest/dumbest movies ever.  I am talking about Southland Tales, written and directed by Richard Kelley (Donnie Darko).   Let me start by telling you about the cast.   A movie came out in 2006 called Bobby which featured a huge cast of very talented actors and Ashton Kutcher.   Southland Tales takes this approach but inserts...

Digg Comments From When They Announced Heath...
jeffrubinjeffrubin: (almost two years ago to the day) While I will attempt to not compare him to Nicholson or “The Batman” joker, I just dont know if Ledger has that crazy and creepy side needed to play the joker. I will admit that I havnt seen too many of his movies, but the ones I have seen him in he doesnt play a creepy crazy guy completly off his rocker. -EdLesMann Please tell me this isn’t...

A Little Relief
About a year ago, I started hearing rumors that a movie was going to be made based off of the Chuck Palahniuk novel, Choke, easily one of my favorites.  I was excited about the news because Palahniuk also wrote the novel Fight Club, of which was adapted to my favorite movie ever. About 3 months ago, I saw a trailer for the movie, which was directed by Clark Gregg.  I was a little upset.  Okay,...

This Hardly Working is pretty funny.  I LOL’d. PS: Notice in the elevator scene, The Flash, who is standing behind Lady Flash says “I am going to eat it so fast.”  That’s so subtle and hilarious.

Good News!
streeter: jeffrubinjeffrubin: FX has ordered fifty two new episodes of the criminally underrated It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. There will be 13 episodes in the coming-soon fourth season, and then 39 past that. (source) Hells yes.  If you’re not watching this show yet, I beg you to please tune in every week.  Please?

In Honor of the Dark Knight Coming Out Next Week
Gotham City Deja Vu by CH contributor Chase Mitchell. This article is truly hilarious.  Not only does it recognize how ridiculous the old Batman movies were but also acknowledges the fact that, through the recent Batman films, we are slowly but surely trying to forget about them. If anybody is old enough to remember what the old Batman TV show looked like, they will attest to the fact that,...

Get Busted
I have a dirty little secret fetish.  I like to go to Busted Tees and look at the shirts and laugh even though I have never even imagined purchasing one.  Its a strange addiction but I just don’t really approve of people looking at my shirt that long so I try not to wear things that don’t require people to focus in on my clothes. Fortunately, for my addiction, Busted Tees is having a...

California Lovin'
More importantly, Fresno State Lovin’.  I popped on to see if there was any news worthy of reading on ESPN.com when I noticed a familiar face down in the left hand corner. No farther down.  No. N…You gotta scroll down a little bit. There it is! ESPN is showing a little front-page lovin’ to our boys in Bulldog Red.  The article is a great read and a lot of praise is handed out...

Why I wish I had a camera:
I was driving down Shaw Ave. today and saw a 50 year old white woman wearing a “I GOT IT 4 CHEAP” shirt.  This shirt, a reference to drug sales, was popularized by the Virginia-based rappers The Clipse. This would be absolutely halarious if you could have seen a picture of the situation. So, for me, just imagine there is a picture of it right here: Well, I guess you had to be there.

“What’s held back a Friends movie so far is that people were worried that...”
– A quote from an article about a Friends movie.  I am sorry but I have seen a bunch of movies that Aniston has been in and she has always played Rachel.  She is the same character in everything she does.  A sign of poor acting.
